Medrar announces the open studio with Giza Zoo Collective, On Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th of August, from 5 to 9 PM.

We announce that we will be hosting the “Giza Zoo Collective” for an art residency throughout August 2024 at Medrar.

During the residency, the collective will organize various public events and activities, followed by an open studio closing event that will showcase the residency’s outcomes.

During August, the collective held a screening for Ismail Yassin in the zoo film and hosted Safena 7, the architect Ahmed Zaazaa, Monica Hirano, and Martin Quinn in discussions and meetings with the audience about the public spaces, zoo, photography, and family.
